What happens in Year1?

Introduction to Basic Concepts


Year 1 tuition often begins with introducing students to fundamental concepts in subjects such as mathematics, language arts, and science.Basic numeracy and literacy skills are emphasized to build a strong foundation for future learning.

In language arts, there is a strong emphasis on phonics, letter recognition, and early reading skills.Students may be introduced to simple sight words and engage in activities that promote language development

Basic numeracy skills are taught, including counting, number recognition, and simple addition and subtraction.Hands-on activities and games may be used to make learning math more interactive and engaging.
